"Two singer-songwriters, two acoustic guitars, original material; Del Prado & Mr. John."
Alexander del Prado and Jonathan Arends, both residing in Almere, The Netherlands, decided to take the name Del Prado & Mr. John to the stage shortly after leaving hardrock band 5 Dogs Left. They traded in their amps for two acoustic guitars. The vocals didn’t cause any trouble, they took care of that themselves. “We’re all for keeping it simple”.
After playing their first gig at a local open-mic, they decided to take their own music more seriously and started to perform wherever they could. Inspired by artists such as John Mayer, Jason Mraz and Jack Johnson they try to bring a positive musical vibe wherever they play.
